UFC 223 Betting Odds and Predictions

UFC 223 has become a mess. After Conor McGregor’s bus episode on Thursday and Max Holloway being deemed unfit to compete, the card looks completely different than it’d 48 hours before the function.
So, I am going to give you a faster, shorter than normal preview and predictions for the newly revised UFC 223 card.
The main event between Al Iaquinta and Khabib Nurmagomedov, first. Iaquinta is a well-rounded fighter with defense in every aspect of the game. However, the only time we have seen him fight in the previous two years was a fast victory over a shop-worn Diego Sanchez. Nurmagomedov has the best grappling in MMA and though there are absolutely some holes in his remarkable game, it simply doesn’t matter when”The Eagle” gets his hands on his competitor. Nurmagomedov will win however, don’t doubt Iaquinta’s ability to create this one demanding for the Russian.
The co-main occasion, which thankfully hasn’t yet been influenced, sees Joanna Jedrzejczyk look to regain her strawweight title vs Rose Namajunas. Jedrzejczyk was clearly not herself at the very first fight, which can probably be attributed to her inability to decode Namajunas mentally before stepping foot to the Octagon. And though Jedrzejczyk is much more focused this time around, Namajunas is a much more full mixed martial artist and I visit”Thug Rose” squeaking out a tough win.
Calvin Kattar and Renato Moicano are similar fighters from the fact that they prefer to conquer opponents from the striking game. Kattar prefers to be the aggressor while Moicano likes to stay at scope, working his jabs and leg kicks. I give the edge to Moicano thanks for his movement and ability to stay calm against an aggressive striker.
Zabit Magomedsharipov, one of the best prospects at the featherweight division, has his opportunity to shine on the PPV when he chooses on Kyle Bochniak. Magomedsharipov absolutely demolished his first two opponents in the UFC on his approach to submission victories. Bochniak is a low-output striker who is more worried about defense than offense. However, in all honesty, Bochniak is being fed to Magomedsharipov. This should not even be a competition.
A couple high-octane combatants face off at the PPV curtain-jerker, as UFC stalwart Joe Lauzon takes on Chris Gruetzemacher. Lauzon has organic pop in his hands but poor striking defense and is at his best in scrambles when he could utilize his glossy submissions. Gruetzemacher has not attempted a takedown in his UFC tenure; rather,”Gritz” targets persistent forward strain in the striking game. Lauzon’s tendency to get hit is a significant concern but I expect his working skills to shine through.
