BIG MARLEY’S UFC ON ESPN 2 DRAFTKINGS FANTASY BREAKDOWN

This weekend, we’ve got a 13-fight card at Philly on big ESPN. DraftKings has some strong contests and that I look forward to chasing the big GPPs. The most important GPP is a $15 buy and $30k belongs to 1st place with a total of $500k being paid out. They also have a new Qualifier for $175,000. There will be 100 qualifiers for that contest and they will compete for a $50k first place price and that $175k will probably be spread out between all 100 entries that qualify. I won my first seat into it a few weeks ago and I will attempt to get my 2nd seat this week if possible. Those Qualifier only competitions can be actual bankroll suckers therefore be cautious chasing those too hard. I’ll likely stick to the top GPP this week and throw a small number of entries at the $30 decoration, and then I will likely take a few shots in the Q. I will also be posting H2Hs in addition to picking up H2Hs through the week to get a fantastic amount of play into cash games.
With that said, let us get to a couple plays I enjoy this week Together with my fade of this week:
Cash Game play of the week — Main Event Stack, Justin Gaethje AND Edson Barboza
When I stack a struggle in money games I want no less than 100 total points. Ideally much more like 150 or even more, but I’ll take 100-point floor together with the guaranteed win. Together with Gaethje fights, we are pretty much locked into that 100+ and we’ve seen his fights even total over 200 DK points. He’s the perfect style for accruing DraftKings points and if we use Edson as well, then we’re guaranteed a win and probably 150+ factors. Give me that day. This is the way I will be starting my money lineup and then I will work out the rest from there. I shall take the loss because we do not desire 6 wins in cash games. 1st place and 5th place get paid exactly the same at a 10-man double-up, so I am not shooting for first and I would rather play with it safer with my cash lineups.
GPP play of the week — Enrique Barzola — $8,200
This is not a sneaky play at all but Barzola ought to be a great play if he shoots for takedowns. In his 5 UFC wins he’s 36 takedowns. That’s precisely what we want on DraftKings. Each takedown is 5-points and he is able to stand up enough to score 100+ points. If he could score over 100 DK points here at $8.2k he is for sure going to win somebody $30k. I really do expect him to be chalky this week, but he’s a lot of scoring possible for me to fade the chalk. I’ll probably be in line with the area on possession with my lineups, maybe overweight.
Underdog drama of the week — Michelle Waterson — $7,600
I like Waterson here because she’s the fighter who will be looking for takedowns in this particular fight. I believe she can get a few and she could have the ability to lock up a submission if that is the case. That’s her ceiling in this struggle, but I enjoy her for cash games because of her floor. I really don’t see KK completing Waterson, therefore I think we get three full rounds of scoring from her. Even in a loss she could place up 30-40 DK points and in money games that is fine. I’ll be using her in GPPs also, but I don’t believe she submits KK. I would guess she places up around ~80 DK points in a decision win when she is able to receive the success.
Fade of the week — Sabina Mazo ($8,800)
I’m spreading my exposure out on the majority of the favorites this week in GPPs but Mazo is the only I am interested in the very least. I believe the only way she outscores her $8.8k salary would be by getting another head kick KO. I really don’t think that’s very probable at all and that I feel that a decision win is most likely for her. I really don’t see her going for almost any takedowns or obtaining many/any knockdowns, so that I don’t see the way she scores highly in a decision win. I will have zero lineups using Mazo this week and when I had been making 100 lineups I’d still probably full fade her. Hopefully it does not burn me, but she is my fade of the week.
